Naperville, New Tank. Curing Live Rock

I am setting up a tank in the next few weeks and have set up a curing setup for my LR while I refinish my tank (2X50 gallon rubbermaid tubs connected with PVC, ocean runner 3500 between, heater, chiller, ASM g2 skimmer, RO/DI, frequent changes) .

I will have some room so if anyone wants to throw in some CLEAN LR I will cure it with mine. You carry.

In return, will accept donations of live sand, macro, pods, jewelry, gold bullion, bearer bonds, whatever you got.

If this is your first tank, welcome to the hobby and welcome to CMAS.

Thanks Efrain and Desdeej

I did freshwater for 5-10 years. I want to try my hand at saltwater. I am going slow for budget reasons and because I am not overly impatient. I have been lurking here and other places for 2 months trying to learn as much as possible.

I have a surgery coming up at the end of November so I would like to get the tank set up with sand and cured rock by then, let it sit for a couple weeks and get to know itself better. Then I'll start shopping for something to put in it.

Right now the priority is curing the rock and then finishing the aquarium and cabinet with mahogany stain and spar varnish, and then plumbing.

I have everything I need except am awaiting a used 48" coralife aqualight pro. I will shop around for other things (reactors?) as I decide I need them.

Thanks
