360 gal in-wall tank
This will be the future location for my in-wall tank. The tank is 8 foot long but only 7 feet of it will be shown due to the look of the tank(odd bracing on it) plus the trim work around the tank will take up some space. from wall to door casing it's 8'1" so it just barely fits.
I'll update as I progress on it. Erik |

Hope it works out. It'll be cool to see it up and running. I looked at a while back but it wouldn't fit through any of my doors.

Erik,
Are you planning on putting SPS in that tank? Thanks Dan.

I might try a piece or two, it's going to be mainly nonphoto corals. The center of the tank will have a mh though. Not sure sps will deal with all the food I will feed the tank but Im gonna give it a try.
Next step is planning my flow, I think Im going to do a tunze 6300 on a waveysea for the main flow in the tank. Flow needs to be laminar for the Dendro's so that makes it easier....pile a bunch of pumps on one end and blast on through to the other side Last edited by Kreeger1; 11/13/2007 at 06:34 PM. |

stand is done, sanding and painting the room tomorrow night fun fun
The tank will sit on a 3/4 inch piece of foam insulation. The stand is dead on level but It won't hurt to have it anyways. Plus that osb isn't all that smooth. Erik |

Will the insulation help for weight distribution, or what?
