Nintendo Wii

Okay so my kid is killing me for a wii......

He saved up his money to match me dollar for dollar.....(smart kid)

Well he has his half of the cash and I can not find a wii anywhere.

I was wondering if anyone here knew some one selling a used one. Or a place I could find one that wont tax me an extra 100 bucks?

I really would like to get a used one to save some cash so if anyone knows anything please let me know.

I cant help you on where to get one, but once you do get one you'll love it. I have one and it is the funnest gaming system I've ever played. I'm not really a hardcore gamer though.

People have come over and played it and I now have two friends who bought them because they palyed mine.

Keep an eye out for Wal-Marts and Targets. Last time I went to a Wal-Mart about 3 weeks ago, they had a dozen they were unloading.

Costco got our shipment in Saturday and they were gone by the end of the day. Your best bet is to call the store around 9 and see if they came in that day.

350 for the wii and those games is OK. The wii sports comes with the wii anyway, so that is not a "bonus" like they would like you to think. I saw a crapload of them on sale on orangecounty.craigslist.org. Try there.

Your gonna love the wii!! I love mine... my friend actually just traded his 360 in for one. Also, you can set it so that your kid can only play for "x" number of hours, and then it wont let him play anymore! Great for keeping kids from getting nuts, or for putting them on restriction! LOL. My wife put me on restriction once... I was p1$$ed! (JK) LOL.

EDIT - Just noticed that you said that for $350 you also get an extra controller. That is good. The controllers cost $40, and you really gonna want at least 2... prefererablly 4! Go for it! Just make sure it is NEW and still in OG wrapping... I personally would NOT buy a used one or one on craigslist.... just go to target or best buy at like 6am on the morning that the truck makes a delivery (ask someone in the games dept when their trucks come in)... thats how my wife bought mine for me like 8 months ago!

For a used one or even a brand new one, check craigslist under toys and games. You have plenty of choices there.

The "5 games" aren't sample games.... it is one game called "wii sports" that has 5 games included. It comes bundled with the wii for free, and is actually really really fun. Just be aware that you arent getting a "bonus"... those 5 games are included with every wii for free. Also, here are some of my fav wii games so far:

*wii sports and wii play
*METROID PRIME 3.... (so so good....)
*Pirates of the Caribbean
*Transformers

There are alot of new games coming out for the wii in Nov too... like agatha christies "and then there were none" (kinda a nerd title, but im interested), and there is a new boxing game that looks pretty sweet..... GL.

How Wii compare to PS3? I mean for fun and the graphic wise.

gunnwong,

The Wii's graphics arent on the same level as PS3 or Xbox 360, but for me the fun value is way higher with the Wii. I had my Xbox 360 for months and hardly played it. Now when people come over everyone wants to play Wii. I had my parents playing video games for the first time in their lives! It is really a lot of fun.
