How about a computer fan? Some of those are pretty big.

A lot of people use the $15 fans from Fry's Electronics.

There are two 120mm (4-3/4") fans that I have used:

- The Icecap Variable Speed fan (http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_ViewIt...product=IC5113) has coatings to protect it against marine corrosion.

- The Sharkoon Silent Eagle 1000 computer fan (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=20897) has an excellent combination of high CFM and low noise due to its "golf ball dimples."

which would be the best silent fan? sorry to steal the thread, but you guys seem to know fans...I don't need the smart fans because I have a computer that can control the fans.
