I added 2 MJ1200 with the sure flow kit.

I just put 2 of the mj1200 mods in my tank it seems to be way more flow than I thought. what is the best position for them?

Assuming your return is ~2000GPH on a 210G tank, you should be at less than 25x turnover still. That's not too much, especially if you add in the sump/fuge etc. into the calculations.

I have a 75G 48"and 2 1200mj with a mod is too much.Your 210G should be able to accommodate that much flow, I would put them where they can create the most turbulences, if it is a sps tank, more flow is better, if it is mostly softies and LPS too much flow is not going to be good .

The sure flows are incredible.. I bought one to replace a tunze nano and it killed it. I had to remove it form my tank.. It was only a 20 gallon tank though... I can not see it being to much in larger tanks though.

they sent me a new prop because the last one was too loud, he told me that it should push close to 2000 gph.
I just dont think I am use to haveing this much flow but one of my hammers seems to take a liking to the boost of power.

From what a Premium Aquatics employee told me, you can use the Maxijet 400's and still get 1600gph or whatever it says. The only reason I mention this is that they are a lot smaller in size and won't be as noticeable in the tank.
