Shipping Cerith snails?

I've shipped alot of corals but new to snails.

Cerith Snails

1. Do they need overnight or is priority mail 2 day ok?
2. Should I put some seaweed in with them?
3. Water to air ratio? more air or more water?
4. Should I put newspaper in the bag?

Sorry for all of the questions.

TIA ADNUP

my ceriths were shipped overnight. About 35% of the bag had water. All made it just fine. Don't know how much different they would fare under 2 day shipping.

I had some astreas and ceriths shipped to me overnight and there was just enough water in the bag to keep them wet. I couldn't believe it, but everyone made it fine.

The last time I got astrea's, they were shipped overnight on a wet paper towel.

It's been a while since I ordered cerith's, but they were shipped in water overnight.

I think in general, snails are pretty tough.

Mine were shipped to me in three days and they survived the tip in a moist napkin. I watched them for a while in a tub then added a air stone to the tank and they came alive. none were dead.

I bought some of those cheap snails of ebay to use as puffer food. When they came in they were in a bag with a wet napkin and no visible water. I don't know if there was normal air or oxygen in the bag.

I just received a shipment of Cerith Snail and Astrea snails shipped overnight. Free overnight shipping and box if you purchase a specific package. To my surprise there was NO water. The bags has some condensation on the walls of the bags. I received a e-mail from the vendor stating they are shipped dry and how to acclimate them prior to receiving my order. They are all doing well. I purchase them from WWW.KEYSCRITTERS.COM.

I know a commercial buyer in the UK order snails from the US without water in damp packages. The delivery takes 2-3 days and according to the guy they transport better without water.
