the ballast has waterproof endcaps, and is a custom sea life ballast, and the das aquabee came out of a das bx2. i have 2 of these, but am currently using one as a feed pump for me euroreef skimmer.

How old are the DAS pumps?

i bought the das bx2 used, so i dont know how old they are. i have been using one of them for about 9 mo with no problems. i use the other from time to time to pump water into my tank during water changes.
