Need help with my MH

I am running Icecap660 with my 14k De. can the Icecap660 run SE. and how do thay run on them? or should I upgrade my ballest?

You should be able to run a SE bulb but will need to rewire it into a mogul socket...I haven't looked at an IceCap in a long time but I thought there was a wiring diagram on the top (maybe not with these new ones)...they also have wiring diagrams on their website: http://207.210.67.162/~icecap/support/.

Probably best to ask IceCap though, safest best: http://www.icecapinc.com/.

hey charles, SE bulbs are made to run more efficient with electronic ballast i.e. icecaps.

Check the wiring diagram. You can rewire it for a mogul base. I don't know what Yinger means about the "more efficient" comment, though. Everyone considering a halide bulb and ballast combination should look at Sanjay's site for info.
