chocolate shrimp

has anyone evre heard of a chocolate or brown shrimp if so do you have any info on them. was at lfs and some one gave him up cause he said he was eating some corals. owner of lfs said he never saw one before and didnt have any info on them. it was a cool looking shrimp but wanted to research it before purchasing.

That is not a trade name for the shrimp, if you can see the shrimp, it could be a saron shrimp

they fit your description and they are known to eat some soft corals.
