For Sale - Odyssea 24" 175W Metal Halide and Actinic PC Lighting System

Now that I've rearranged much of my lighting, I have an extra Odyssea 24" 175W Metal Halide (DE) and Actinic PC Lighting System. Includes 150W DE XM 14,000K MH bulb and two 24W CF actinics.

It used to hang over my propagation tank. The glass over the MH bulb is lightly pitted from salt.

2x internal electronic CF ballast
2x blue LED moonlights
individual power cords

$100

Last night I found the original (unused) 20,000K bulb that came with the system. That's included. The 14,000K XM bulb has been running for almost a year.

$100 or Best Offer

Will you ship it? I'm new to the forum but have 40+ Positive ebay feedback.

Let me think about it. I don't have the original packaging, so I'm not sure it would ship well.

Odyssea lighting is hit or miss.... customer service is terrible, that's why there are no takers. Do a search you'll see

I've actually had good luck with the odyssea PC's in freshwater enviroment, as well as the canister filters.... It could be hit or miss but as long as the seller says it works well I'm going to think about it...
Thanks for the heads up though

Yeah, I did my research before buying it myself. It's been fine for me too. Until recently, I had it running for about a year.

Joe, unless you are planning to but Chris' lighting fixture keep your opinions to yourself. There is no need for you to start and BS here.

I have 3 Odyssea lights that I'm more than happy with.
I've got a 36" 1x 175w HQI MH fixture. A small 13" PC refugium light and my newest 48" 2x 250w HQI MH fixture with electronic ballasts.
I've had only one problem with both halide fixtures. The cooling fan inside the fixture started making noise on both fixtures. The fix was easy though...pull the fan out take the sticker off the back and spray a touch of WD-40 in the fan bearing, put sticker back on to cover the bearing.....no problems since.
Funniest part is..what I paid TOTAL for all 3 fixtures is probably close to what most people pay for ONE name brand fixture......
If I had a tank I could use the 24" light on...I would take it. Hrmmm maybe a super fuge light for the 72???

Good luck selling the light Chris....someone will buy it.

Actually, I just got a MarineDepot shipment in yesterday with a box big enough and packing peanuts. I'll see how well it packs. In the meantime PM me your address so I can get a shipping cost.

Sorry, I had to chuckle.

I think the lighting is accounted for. If that falls through, you're welcome to it.
