Not an extremely popular lps, but an interesting one, and I will give you another bump to the top. But what kinda flow do you have it under, and lighting specs?

maybe try keeping it up off the sand by putting it on a piece of pvc but still down on the sand? they way they do some frags, clams etc? to keep the sand off its tissue?

Did you recently vacuum your substrate?

Do you have elevated nitrates?

Sometimes if you stir things up a bit, it can cause some bad stuff to "spike".

Every once in a while, mine will close for a few days to a week.
I've had that one since the beginning. It seem like a slow grower?

Mine is on the sand and under pc lights as mentioned.

I don't spot feed it, but do feed the tank once/wk with cylop-eaze and twice/wk with mysis shrimp. Spectrum pellets daily.

I made the test and its pretty high but I don't trust the seachem tests so I'll go and buy a better quality one.

in what kind of flow do you keep yours???
