Eh, it happens, I can't always be watching TV 24/7... although my HD-DVR really makes getting around that limitation quite useful

The show is called "Equators"?? Then I can simply search for the next time it'll be on

Not on again until 11/3 @ 9 PM (not sure if it is ET or PT)

The Tivo will be set, I'll be diving in Catalina that day.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually had this saved on my HD-DVR for about a year until it got accidentally erased. I'll be sure to record it again on 11/3 so I can watch it whenever I want again.

I'm a cheapskate and only have basic cable. The only HD I record is broadcast HD with BeyondTV. I did a double take and thought I saw Hawk instead of Jonas when I started watching the season opener of The Unit.

Thats fine. The HD-DVD/blueray format is 1080p (progessive). The highest broadcast on any HD channel is 1080i (interlaced). There is no 1080p tv. It doesn't exist yet. You will only find that high-quality of a signal on HD-DVD and Blueray disks. There is a 780p broadcast though....

So if you record the 1080i signal on your 1080p recorder, you're only gonna get 1080i when you play it back. The recorder cannot add the extra lines of info. It can only copy a signal. If that was the case I'd re-record all my old DVDs in HD format... which you can't do.

HTH
