Your PM box is full again, and either you are not getting your emails or intentionally ignoring me.

Items arrived today........there are a couple of issues.

The skimmer has a chip out of the base, noticable as soon as the package was opened.

The neck of the skimmer is not connected to the body at all.

The cord on the pump is melted.

The ballast does not have the power cord with it.......I used one from a computer monitor and it does not fire the bulb at all. No hum from the ballast which leads me to believe it is not getting any power or does not work.

Now I work with acrylic so I can fix the neck of the skimmer and the broken piece on the bottom. But I can not fix a melted cord or a ballast that does not work.

What resolution do you suggest at this point?

Larry

I can fix the skimmer.......no problem there altough I did not expect to do a patch job........the pump does work on it and I figure after a day or two in a vinegar bath it will clean up fine and will be able to be re-glued........the cord on the pump is melted though, as can be seen in the pictures.......I will see if I can replace it as I will not feel confortable when not at home with it running like that.....the wires are not bare but the plug is surely melted.

I have tried two other bulbs on the ballast and still nothing......do I need the cord that came with the ballast?...never had a problem with any other ballast using a different cord..........I will check a few other things and get back to you shortly..

Best Regards,

Larry

Tim, the ballast is no good. I have tested it with a volt meter and nothing registers. The bulb works, as I have ired it on another ballast. I will return the ballast via USPS priority in the morning.

The skimmer I will keep as I can fix the broken pieces with weld-on.

Let me know an address to return the ballast to.

Payment can be refunded through Paypal on it.

You can reach me at ###### or provide a number for me to contact you.

Best Regards

Larry

I know you got the email last night. You really need to refund all of my money.
