My Saltwater tank

I have had a 125 gal. salt water aquarium for 16 years.
I use rain water for partial water changes. I clean up the rain water over super activated carbon in 32 gal plastic container. It may take 2 months for the clean up..Then I buffer it one day and the followering day add tropic Marin salt. The third day I do the partial water change.
There are several of these containers at different stages of clean up.
My yellow tang is 24 years old, and a tomato clouwn is about 18 years old. I first had a 40 gal salt water tank before the present one.
I use a aquaspace light, chiller. Cup corals, colt coral , clam. rose-tip anemone.
Having a salt water aquarium is a constant learning process.

no, rainwater is actually very dirty from absorbing all the nasties on the way down.
