Oh yea its worth it. I have the pics, I need to upload them. Today I will make that a priority... hang in there.
It's worth the drive, definitely an awesome dive. The reef is huge, you can spend several days there and keep seeing new things. And its full of life. Plus its at about 12-16/18 feet so thats got some perks. I was told 18 feet but I only clocked 16 ft max depth where I was (straight out at Datura and a tad south where it tapers).
When you go out, you will see some rubble - pass that, thats not the main attraction. Go past that, and you'll see the bigger reef beyond it. You'll basically be just past or right about at the tip of the pier.

BTW there's a beachfront hotel right there at the parking lot, plenty of others in the area as well, so if you wanted to make a weekend out of it, you could very easily. And a freshwater shower open to the public at the loading ramp as well.

Definately! It shouldn't hang on anything, plus it's very shallow and the current should be manageable.
Pics as promised

I took those pics above while diving with my cousin Ben.
A few days later, Ben took a trip to the Cayman Islands. If anyone wants to see some beautiful pictures that he took, check these out:
