How much flow in my fuge?

I just installed my new sump with fuge...I have my line from tank split in between my skimmer section and my fuge with a ball valve.

I currently have 75% going to skimmer section and 25% going to fuge section.

My fuge is approx. 6 gallons, what size powerhead should I keep in there for the cheato?

Thanks!

The 25% flow to the fuge should be enough.

Is my cheato supposed to be tumbling around in the fuge? It doesn't seem to be moving very much...that's why I didn't think I had enough flow

No, it should not tumble. I read somewhere that about 90 gal/hr is good. If the chaeto starts to tumble it can start to come apart and then you have to worry about it wrapping around the return pump impeller and possibly jamming your return. I have a very slow flow going through my HOB aquafuge and I have to remove chaeto every 3 weeks. My POD population is huge and I have not had an algae problem in my tank for about a year.
