Digitate hydroids

Hi,

I have recently discovered that there are quite a few digitate hydroids on my LR. They haven't caused a problem yet, but I am worried that if they spread any more then they will start stinging my corals. Is there an easy way to remove them, or is there a natural predator I can add to the tank to get rid of them? If I leave things alone will they just die back?

Has anyone dealt with this sort of thing before, or does anyone know what the best course of action is? If so, please can you help me out.

Thanks in advance,

Michael.

Thanks, that's reassuring. Can you tell me how long they took to die out, and whether they caused any problems to any tank inhabitants?
