Ich on my tang

I noticed my tang has begining stages of ich. I have not been feeding the tank nearly as much as I was as I am in the process of bringing down my phosphates. That may be the reason.

Anyways, I have inverts so I obviosuly cannot use copper. I have the seaweed (paper) that I have been dipping in garlic and placing on a clip. Is this the best way to remove?

Ick will run in 21 day cycles the cycts take that long to hatch. They will attach themselfs to the host where it sleeps. So you think it cleared up then it reappears. As the fish weakens it will get worse.

Ozone or UV will help as will clean water and little or no stress...

Under feeding to make up for lack of filtration will only make the matter worse...

You don't list what type of tang you have?? Really a 90 gallon tank is to small and could be part of your problem..

Good Luck.
