Im just guessing here but it is probally supported like a shelf with some kind of L brace.

This is the best that I have right now. Sorry It's difficult to capture depth in a Starphire tank sometimes. The foot print is 4'x4'. To truly enjoy the tank, you have to look down at it slightly, which isn't the best for photography. You get a partial top down view that way as well. Look down on the tank is pretty cool BTW.



While I'm at it, here is the garage wall behind the tank. I still need to paint the wall, but I have a few more gadgets I need to install.

looks like there just brought the wall out and used sheetrock, and painted it to look just like the wall... so in a way the wall is holding up the tank.

Lee Mar out of San Diego. They are one of the best tank builders, but they don't ship their tanks very far (AZ and Southern California). Their speciality is eurobraced tanks with beveled and polished edges. They are known for their clean black silicone seams. My tank was also built with a padded bottom.
