OM 4way w/Dart and TUBV's 98229

Hi,

I have a sequence Dart w/ a Ocean Motion 4 way w/ a version 3 drum. Set up comes w/ 1-2",1-1.5" and 4-1" true union ball valves. System was used for about 9 months. $350 shipped

picture is of brand new before it went on the sytem w/o mag drives and drums installed yet. I ran the system fro maybe 3 months w/o the mag drive and drum.

This picture looks like it's missing something. Where is the solenoid or electrical part that goes on top of the 4 way. If this is a complete working OM4 way with valves and pump I will buy it.
I don't understand the inner workings it yet . Explain mag drive and drum. Can you post a picture as it looks now?
Thanks

OK, Pfish you are first in line for the set up. I will post pics tomorrow of the full set up w/ the mag drive unit.

Pfish- basically the part you see there would house the drum. My drum is a version 3. What that does is open 2 of the 4 ports at one time. The drum goes around and alternates between 4 ports (2-open,2-closed at all times).

When I bought the OM I bought only the bodies to keep costs down but still be able to plumb my closed loop when I started up my tank. I ran the OM's w/o drums and mag drive for maybe 2-3 months then I bought the drum and magdrive and added them.

The way it stands after looking at times on PM's:

1: Pfish
2: Efish-OM only??...I would like to keep the system together if I could. If I can't sell as package maybe we could work a deal on the OM.

3:jeepin girl4ya- I am assuming you are not interested ??

4:LB force57

5:another mineral

6:erics3000

I'll go answer PM's now and let you know via PM as well to those that sent PM's.

So pics tomorrow here for Pfish and anyone else interested in the whole set up. Sorry I did'nt do that the first time around.

If it is complete and works consider it sold. I would still like to see a picture of the om unit completely put together first.
Thanks

OK, well I went to get the pics and was cleaning it up a bit and decided to plug it in and it is not working right. I am sending pics to Paul to see what I need to do to fix this. I think I just need a new drum. Anyways if anyone wants to bail I totally understand. If you have a week or 2 I can get this resolved (assuming it is just a drum) and get it out to the buyer. Here is the pics of the unit unassembled and w/ the mag drive. The mag drive works and everything it just sounds like the magnets are popping/slipping.[IMG][/IMG]

here is the drum that I think is the problem

Let me know who is still in and who is out. I am really sorry this happened.

Looks like you've scratched the hell out of the thing. Probably from sucking up substrate into it. Happens quite often if you have sugar sand in the tank.

On the bright side, It shouldn't be a big deal to fix up though.
