Powerhead advice

I have the outflow of my Iwaki (820 gph) flowing left to right in my tank and a Vortech flowing right to left. THey meet in the middle and I try to "crash" t he currents as best I can. I would like to add two powerheads to come off the back wall and be on a wavemaker/timer power strip I have. Does anyone have a particular product you like a lot tha should fit the bill? I am trying to shoot some water in a different direction toward some SPS colonies I have. I am trying not to spend too much on this .Thx.

For cost and durability on a wave maker (lots of on off cycles), you can't beat Maxi Jets. Go for a few more bucks and add the Maxi Jet Mod kit. You will be very surprised by the flow.

I have two MJ 1200 mods.. which are great BUT I added a HYDOR 4 which Blows them out of the water.
I also have a mj wave maker kit sold buy Foster /smith it's just ok but can only be used with MJ powerjets.
PS I have my pH all on magnets and just move the magnets each morning and evening to different positions on the tank sides thus causing different currents through out the tank.
just an idea...

Chuck, How do you keep the mj mods working right? do you have them on a timer? I put the acryllic rod in to keep them from reversing but eventually it just destroyed the impeller.
