Cool Come on guys I need your help!!!

On July 2 I acquired a green bulb anemone from Live Aquaria at the Dr. Fosters & Smith frag swap in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
upon drip acclimating it for about 2 hours I put it in my tank. With in 1 hour it had moved about 4 inches from were I had placed it, and it attached to a rock. This cell phone video is the only picture I have of the First week. "Cklick on Image to play video"[IMG][/IMG]
then 3 weeks later this happened!!
[IMG][/IMG]

it shrinks up at about 10 am every day and stays that way until about 8 pm!!

I am using 192 Watt PC lighting
water parameters are
salinity = 1.0265
PH = 8.22
NO2 = 0
NO3 = 0.02
Phosphate = 0.045
KH/ ALK = KH in dkh 8.0 Alk in meq/L 2.86
I added a phosban reactor on monday with carbon and phosban, and their is no change in his behavior.
Can some one please give me some feed back on what I am doing wrong!!!!

Is the water temp. getting high during the day?

The second picture looks like it is evacuating its stomach contents, which is normal, but it shouldn't happen everyday.

Have you been feeding the anemone?

I have a fan on my sump to help keep the temp down during the day and the temp gets up to about 78.9 during the day, and about 77.8 at night. I have been feeding it a good size piece of krill once a week.

temp shouldnt do that to the anemone. i have my temp at 85 or was running consistently for two weeks at that temp and it did very well. my temp is now around 82 high with a fan on my sump though

As long as it is not disintegrating and is still sticky to the touch, I would try to wait it out (as long as all of your water parameters are normal). If he starts to disintegrate, get it out before it ruins the water quality!

Maybe your lighting is not strong enough for him? Also how long have you had the pc bulb? If you had it for a long time then you should change it and see if that helps.

or, conversely, the light is too strong--was he in a dark bucket when you got him? he may be having a hard time acclimating to the new light...what time do your lights come on?

good luck!
