Nice! I have been eyeing that thread for a while now. Heck, the lights and pumps alone is way more than the asking price for the whole thing!

Yeah did you scroll down and see that he is selling everything for $500!

A question about plumbing. Right now the overflows are just screened holes in the acrylic, what do you think about this?

ok I thought it had the lights listed separately, that's a good deal I'd jump on it if you can.
screened holes are ok, some people cut out the teeth to get more flow and go with screens, just depends on how its done I'd have to see a picture.
Good thing is since it's acrylic if you want to modify anything its easy to drill and weld stuff onto it before you fill it with water.

Happy birthday, Caleb. Only 3 more decades to catch up to me! What kind of plumbing did you decide on? I'd go with the CLM, myself, I just love the flow.

Wow! I have been out golfing since early this morning, and then headed over to lunch at chili's. Me and my dad then coordinated with the visiting clubhose manager to use the u-haul he had to bring the players bags up to denver to pick it up. It all worked out great and its sitting in our house right now! I'm SOOOOO excited to get it set up. I'm gonna need help figuring out the plumbing, but I'll post about that tommorow.

Caleb, it was great meeting you yesterday. Hopefully you will be able to put those rocks to good use. But we do need some pics of the new BIG tank LOL! Are you gonna drill it for a close loop?

Ok no pics of the tank yet because its filled with cloudy water to make it easier to scrape this green algae that like coraline off the back. I whipped up a diagram on excel of what my tank looks like. (sorry for the wrong proportions)

Caleb, can we get a pic of the equipment under the stand, at least? That is quite a deal for the price!!! The 2 Hammerheads alone would have pushed you past what you paid. You lucky little pup...

Here's what I would do to increase surface filtration and still use the existing holes...

Thanks for the help Eric. The way the guy who previously had the tank set up was having both hammerheads for the closed loop, and two mag-9.5s being the return pumps. What does the flow from the bottom do for me?
Thanks
