Anthony0812 is a THIEF!!!!!! Please help.

3 Months ago I bought some corals from Anthony Yang . I fedexed the check next day, he cashed it and said he sent the corals. I had pre-paid the shipping with UPS.

Corals never arrived because apparently UPS screwed up the shipping and on the next Monday when I spoke to Anthony he said he found the damaged box with dead corals at his business, so they UPS had never shipped them.

After having a conference call with Anthony and UPS, Anthony apparently filed all the necessary claim forms and after inspection received full refund of goods + shipping charges from UPS. UPS has verified with me that they issued a check which Anthony has cashed.

Since I had paid for the corals and also the shipping, he was in turn supposed to write me a check for the refund he had cashed from UPS.

To make a long story short, I have never received the check, even though Anthony claims he sent it. I then asked him to cancel the check he supposedly sent me (in case it got lost in the mail) and asked him to send me a new check via fedex with a tracking number to make sure I would receive it. After agreeing to that request I have never heard back from him after repeated calls and e-mails.

3 weeks have now gone by with no response, and one of his e-mails no longer works, nor do the two phone numbers I had.

If anyone knows Anthony Yang, aka Anthony0812 please help me get in touch with him as he still owes me 165$!

Dude that sucks.
Stay on him.
Maybe the check did get sent out.
Continue the lines of communication and be sure to post the results.

Now I remember him.
I sold him a float switch a few months back.
I didn't have any problems...but I was on the receiving end of the $$$>
I do remember him emailing me everyday until he got it tho lol.

I have just spoken to Anthony Yang after finding a phone number for his business. Apparently he has been moving offices (no internet connection) and also lost his cell phone, hence the poor communication over the last month.

He promised he was going to UPS the check ASAP and also gave me a new cell number where he can be reached, so hopefully everything should be taken care of.

I bought some zoanthids from Anthony. I had no problems with the deal. He shipped on time and well packed. The zoos were as represented.

I'd really expect he'll make the deal right for you.

Well, I have spoken 3 times already with Anthony since my last post, and I still haven't received anything!!!

Man... threads like this really stinks. I hope Anthony has a really good excuss because I really enjoy buying stuff from him. Been to his apartment a few times so he is pretty cool in person. Hope it all works out for you.

If you need any help with prosecution of anthony I am your man. I am a specialist in fraud. I can nail the book to him and he will be dizzy for a week trying to figure out his charges.

I sent a formal notice to Mr. Yang regarding the incident. If he does not contact you within 72 hours email me. He has been instructed to make immediate payment arrangements facing potential legal action.

Thanks for the support. Believe it or not, when I got home yesterday, I received an e-mail from Anthony with a tracking number for a FEDEX package which apparently contains the check. I hope the saga will finally end in a couple of days when I receive it!

I'm sure Anthony didn't try to rip you off. It's just a bad situation when UPS screwed the whole thing up. I know a local reefer Ali, who knows Anthony, and I'm pretty sure he's not a scammer.

I can understand your frustration, when people owe you money lag and take their sweet time, it's very frustrating.

Most likely he was just being a lazy SOB or just caught up in an unusually hectic length of time. I do know that he was moving, plus I haven't seen him on these boards for quite some time. (Usually he's always on these boards). He is not a bad guy so try not to worry, I'm confindent you'll get your money.

Another reason not to send check or money orders in my opinion. You can always dispute charges with Paypal or with a credit card transaction. Hope it all turns out ok. That is a significant amount of money to loose. - R

Finally!!!!!!

After 3 Months I have finally received a check with the amount owed to me from Anthony. I will deposit it tomorrow so we will see what happens, but it looks like we are on the right way.

Thank you all for the BAD MOUTHING ON ME..hahah..never the less i do applogize for the delays..its been hell for me the last few months..anyhow..i have finished moving..re-furnished my new place...my company has finished moving..got a new office with a 30 gallon nano setup... got my new tank set up and finally cycled..all is all..but i guess i do deserve all these..

Again, cuz of all these commosions..i will no longer SHIP ANYTHING TO ANYWHERE with my stuffs..if you want stuffs from me..come and get it..I have done so much for the people on this board and i am sure many and many people here knows me and have seen me in person plus having a pretty good knowledge of my personality. and Ali..yes.i am a Lazy SOB!

Glad you're back Anthony. Other reefers can pretty much ignore this thread because anyone that's met you and bought stuff from you know that you're good for it.

BTW, the Rose hasn't split yet but is doing great.

haha, is that what lawyers do now ? hang around feedback forums to find a case to work for ?

Probably dosen't know anything about reefs.

Looks like the check has cleared, so the saga is finally over. Anyway, I'm surprised it takes 3 months to mail a check....

Nothing personal, I know you are a good guy, but it just took you bloody ages to send me the money. I'm sure you would have been surprised had you been in my shoes.
