LB...nice to see you making progress. We need more pics!!!

Not sure about the mount on the dart as I don't know how much pull they have. Mine is sideways and seem to work well (but it is still pulling water horizontally.

It makes a huge difference with workable space if you can hang it somehow...

Yeah, a little progress this weekend but not much been sick all week. I finished a little chiller stand and got the chiller under the house.Ran spaflex through the floor to the chiller and then found out my pvc cement was rock hard.

I have to work tommorrow but the rest of the week I'm off so maybe I can get this never ending project done!!!!

Here's a pic of what I'm thinking for rockwork, although the tank is much larger!
I was thinking about trying that in mine, too.

Man I'm sure you'll agree, but I will never tell how long glueing a few pipes together actually takes. I'm whooped and my knees are killin me.I guess there's no substitute for experience,if I did this everyday it would be easy!!!

I tell you what man, the picture doesn't really do the scale of that tank and project justice. In person those 180s are huge.

i don't know if the pump will work like that. ubsually you want it to e below the water level in the sump or else it will draw air and need to be primed, and i'm not sure how you could prime that.

It's definantly a gamble! My thought is that under a power outage the impellar should be under water since the sump will fill and the level will be equal in the line. I've no idea I checked around and noone seemed to know for sure so I just decided to try. Will save alot of room if it works if not I get to buy more fittings and do it over---It's a win-win!!!
