2 frogfish in a 125 gal shouldn't have much affect on the nutrient load of the tank. I'm guessing you don't have any other fish in there? Mine tends to move around through out the day.

I think it would be ok with fish large enough that it can't eat. Be careful though the other fish don't pick on the eel. Should leave snails alone.

A few characteristics of the Caribbean chestnut moray are: arched jaws (mouth doesn't completely close), series of white dots on the upper and lower jaws, and the groves in the gill area are dark.

Yes, vipers get big. I'll try to get some pics of my chestnut, although I only see it poking it's head out of the pvc pipe. More active at night. It did eat 2 frozen mysid shrimp tonite.
