The small piece is about the diameter of a dime when fully extended. The larger piece is about the size of a quarter when fully extended. It doesn't really recede much day to night - the "bubbles"...

Moderate flow
I've kept it in low to moderate flow with good results. It will get beat up if you have a powerhead or outlet hit it directly.

I originally grew the coral out in a 65 gallon with 2x96W PC (one 10,000K and one actinic). I have many frags in a 90 gallon with eight T5s (4 10,000 K and 4 actinic).
