I will be lucky if there is any thing in it by July. I didn't plan on ordering the tank till then so really I'm a head of schedule.

Weight is not that bad. 6 people was to many, but needed in case any one gets tired or loosing grip. We had 2 on each end and 1 extra guy on each end just in case. the 5th person came in handy lifting the tank up on the stand. I built it 39" tall.

Mark.. Do you have easy access to the basement? For the Stairs Glasscages said to just slide it down. That is what I did. Had it from the truck to the stand in about 5 min, if that.

If you need help call me, I'll come supervise No seriously if you need help I'll be glad to.

Thanks guys!! I should have more done this weekend.

I was thinking the same. Better to cut your losses now while they're cheap and sell it to me for about 100 bucks.

I'll give you $150, minus the $50 for taking the stinky sand off your hands...

Yes that is where his tank was built. Kent is the one that made me feel better about ordering from them.

Thanks Kent

Heh- No problem man...How much sloppy silicone scraping did you have to do? Mine wasn't too bad and I'm still perfectly happy with it. Where did you end up getting the overflow cover built?

By the way, sorry about not getting you over to see mine before you commited to the buy. Things have been a little hectic around here so I haven't had a lot of time to get on here much...You're still welcome to come by some time if you'd like....

So far Very.. Have not put water in it yet. Glasscages asked me not to put water in it till after 3 weeks from Manufactures date which was 3/13, for the silicone has time to cure.
Which is fine with me. I have enough to do right now.

I have not scraped any off. In one of the pictures above there is a razor blade, that was theirs so they must have cleaned it up. I haven’t seen a spot, I have to touch yet, but I have been busy trying to frame the basement out so I can start working on my tank.

I bought it from them. $20 or $30. It looks nice. It’s all black

cool- I'm glad to hear they've finally started offering all black instead of the marbled granite looking stuff...
