definately not a calcium reactor. It looks like an inline fluidized filter minus a few parts or a kalk reactor minus a few parts. Either way you got roayaly hosed if you were suposed to get a knop reactor

Kinda looks like a rather half-assed phosphate reactor. The media inside of it looks like alumina-based phosphate remover, quite a bit of it in fact. The reactor itself is certainly a rip-off if you bought it as a Knop calcium reactor (the Phosban reactor has a better design and costs about $40). The media inside it might be worth something, but still not worth the price of a Knop.

That symbol/name was used by Thiel Aqua Tech a few years back. Well..... maybe 8 years ago. Company run by Albert Thiel. Not sure if it's still the same but that was definately the name and symbol he used.

thats the one name I get hits on when I do searches for BioZone ...Thiels, but never do I get any pics or info on items like this....and yes it was from a gentleman that was setting up a tank 7-10 years ago and never set it up...now his son is selling his stuff for him (fathers in fla, sons in ohio)...his son sent me this item instead of the calcium reactor, as far as I can figure out right now. I talked to the father on the phone the other day and he has no idea what this item is though
