Its not hard to find info on most fish, if you take the time to look them up yourself. just google it. |

FWIW, I think asking questions from real-life people here on RC *is* "looking it up yourself"

ryan115, That link saise nothing about keeping it in a home tank. I did look it up, but it seemed that every site had a different looking fish. Besides, I allways get better info here on RC. Look at the minimum tank requirements that most sites give you. They're never accurate.

Looks an awful lot like a tailspot blenny. I'd assume the same care involved.

I was looking at that fish yesterday. Pretty neat.
I found a page (http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/mari...nearblenny.php) with information, but I don't trust it. Each of the blennies I checked on this site were listed as temperate, and that isn't true. The same goes for the Ecsenius lineatus in question, it's a tropical species. I'm with SDguy. Not familiar with this species, but it is probably similar in care to the tailspot and bicolor blennies.

Hey, that's the fish i got 2 weeks ago for 21 bucks, hell of a deal. he's so cool, he hops around on rocks and pecks at algae throughout the tank. the only fish that he bothers at all is my new orange diamond goby, if you get him i'm sure you will love him. I 'll go snap a pic of him real quick.

I have a tailspot Ecsenius stigmatura . It does look very similar. I love mine and I can see them being too different from the description. BTW your DIYT rock looks amazing! |
