Question about painting glass...

Would it be best to mask the tank with the bulkheads in place or can I piant the glass without the bulkheads? Will placing the bulkheads on the painted glass surface lessen the water-tightness of them?

Thanks!

I painted mine with the bulheads removed. The gasket for the bulhead is on the inside (unpainted) of the tank and provides the water tight seal so you should be ok. Just remember to put plenty of tape over the holes so that the paint can't get to the inside of the tank.
