oceanflo out of business?

I purchased (2) kits from them and been having problems...one of them is very loud, and the other started spinning in reverse yesterday. I've sent many emails but have yet to get any response. I know this could fall under the category of "vendor experiences" but I wanted to post here to see if anyone else has had problems contacting them. I'm begining to wonder if they are still in businsess. By the way, I highly regret buying these...I wish I would've just waited for the tunzes. They are overpriced and proven to be unreliable.

they are a one man show i believe, and moving to not selling any online, but just being a distributor to vendors, LFS, online sites, etc.

once that changeover happens, they will likely be more available.

i think it's more of a matter of being ridiculously overwhelmed with email, than ignoring someone.

So much for the "1 year warranty."

Wow... I think that's a bit harsh considering the circumstances, don't you? They made no mention what so ever of not honoring any warranties to current customer's, rather they go on to say that all current customer's are still welcome to contact them via email, it just might be a little slow getting back to you, rightfully so.

I'm deeply saddened to hear about anyone getting such a serious illness, and appreciate that family has to come first.
An update: I seem to have fixed the pump from starting backwards by adding a rubber boot over the stopper. It hasn't spun in reverse since!

One of mine is getting progressively louder ... quite annoying. I've emailed them, but I might just be up that proverbial creek.
