Help w/ camera (pic inside)
Hey guys, every time I take pictures the fish are blurry.
I'm thinking it has to do with shutter speed? Very new to digital cameras. I have a tripod and a SONY DSC-T5 5.1 megapixels and 3x optical zoom. Anyway, heres a pic to share! You can see my blurry hippo. Any suggestions?

yeah it's just the shutter speed - the cam isn't getting enough light so it leaves the shutter open longer to compensate and get a good exposure level. If you can put it in manual mode, try setting the aperture to the widest setting (Ie, the smallest f-number) and a higher ISO. That should increase the amount of light hitting the sensor and increase the gain/amplification on the signal from the sensor, reducing the amount of time that is required for the exposure. What was the exposure time for the pic shown above?

You can also try setting your camera to a sports mode. This is not always the best solution, but it can work.

If you set your camera to Aperature Priority (A or AP mode, not AUTO), the set the f/stop to f2.8. Set your ISO to 400 and take a few pictures.
The smaller the fstop number, the faster the shutter opens and closes. The higher the ISO, the grainier the image may be. I try to keep it at 400, but occasionally I have to switch up to 800. 1600 is about useless to me, but works if you have to shoot images with moonlights.

THanks guys, i'll try taking some more tonight.
It kinda sux because I can only take pics in 1mpixel because I have to compress them down to under 50k. Is there better methods to use?

Yes, take them at a higher megapixel, and upload them to Photobucket.com instead. From there you can link them in your posts here. For more information about how to do that, check this out:
