Whatever happened to......

Hi there folks,

After a very busy week in Germany, I am back at home for a while and am trying to catch up on all that is happening on RC.

I was wondering, some time ago there was a great push to start collecting some serious information on fish breeding and waht not. WHat ever happened to it all?

I have registered several domain names today, one of which is MarineBreeder.com and .info. There will be a couple of things happening in the next couple of weeks and months on this site.

If you can think of anything that would be really cool let me know.

Happy reefing.

Steve

All I really know is that from my experience, the Breeder's Registry appears dead - have submitted at least a couple reports, which BTW wasn't exactly a "short" process, and never heard back squat, not a peep, nothing.

Check out Iris's Larva-Lex post...the site she's building certainly is interesting...she has the brief version of Apogon leptacanthus larval development on her site now, along with a really exceptional spread of Mandarin development.

I myself have Synchiropus.com set aside for a rainy day when I actually have some freetime to do something with it Maybe once the mandarins actually grow up to to saleable size instead of never hatching or petering out at 4-5 days!

I'd be happy to contribute - I'm always worried that a forum such as this could get wiped out by some disaster and all the data just dissapears! That would "beyond" suck!

Matt
