cleaner shrimp
has any one had trouble with cleaner shrimps in their tank attacking their Tridacnids??? i read in sprungs invert book that they can do this, but thought it odd, any one have any comments???

my cleaner shrimps didn't bother to attack my clams.

I feel that cleaner shrimp (or other "ref" safe shrimp) will only be seen bothering clams once they have something else effecting them. Usually clams that are on their way out will be ravaged by the clean up crews, so if you see your shrimp bothering a clam, check it for parasites or other problems.

Yes, for the longest time my cleaner didn't touch my clams. But then, when I switch light bulbs one of my clams wasn't doing good and was dying. The cleaner shrimp went for it.

i have 3 cleaners and they never take a second look at my clam
