Building lots diy need help

hi i am started on doing these projects:sponge filter

bridge

sponge filter for my breeding tank wich you can trnslatehere from spanish to your language
and last but not least a 3 gallon breeding tank

any advise appreciated

That water bridge is a great idea but that execution of it seems a little too risky to me.

I personally would rather drill the tanks and put a square glass tube between them, or use acryllic tanks and put an acryllic tube between them. This way you would never have to worry about the water spilling and you wouldn't have 30lbs of water hanging on the frame of tour tank.

Very cool idea though.

IMO I would not put such a FILTER in my tank. It is distracting and takes away from the beauty of the tank . That filter will get real brown and green with detris and will look horrible. Although if you are only using it for breeding then it really would not matter

yeah its only to keep my breeding tank clean from watever the fry can expell
ps: i am already using that in my brine shrimp colony and i dont really care bout the looks or their health (they just for feeding bigger fish)
