Best skimmers $100 and under

I have a new frag tank that I'm setting up in my office. It's not going to be a full display so I'm looking to just keep things steady and clean.

I'm curious what protein skimmers people have that are moderately priced at $100 or below that they like?

You're probably going to have to find a used one for that price. You might be able to find a used backpack or remora for around $100 - but it would be a pretty good find.

You can get a Coralife Super Skimmer rated for 65 gallons. They are on sale right now at liveaquaria.com. I have a CSS 125 and it works great.

Look into a downdraft skimmer. If you are going to have just a frag tank with the possibility of maybe a fish or two when chosen carefully, then you might not even need a skimmer. Just ample amounts of live rock should do the trick.

I think the coralife Super Skimmer are your only option if you want HOB (and it not to be awful). If you're running a sump, look at the Reef Octopus NW110.
