Pics of my 55

Here are some pics of my 55 reef tank that has been up for about 2 years now. This is one of my first posts on here, and thought I would show what all of the info I have gained from you all has helped create. This tank has been very successful, with nothing dying in it besides a few snails. Everything in it has been in for atleast 1 year, with the exception of one of the brittlestars. This is a very simple setup, and hopefully it will give hope to those that cant afford all of the fancy equipment. Let me know what you think.

lighting

260watt pc lighting Orbit fixture. Some say its not enough, but after 2 years and everything thriving, i have to question things. Not saying anyone is wrong, but I strongly believe in buying healthy specimens, preferably aquacultured, to give them a strong potential for success in my tank! Thanks for the comments. That is weird how you have the same stuff in yours. There is a bunch of other stuff in there, but i did not want to overwhelm the board with pictures.

Catharsis

Thank you! I hope the "sweet-spot" lasts, this hobby has been really a dream, and again I owe a lot of credit to everyone on these forums. Its such a pleasure to have many experienced people to gain knowledge from, and even the unexperienced.

Looks great. Just keep an eye on your bio-load once those 2 tangs get to be full sized.

You'll hear that alot if you just run PC's. Im in the same boat as you. I run 2 96's and 2 65's (322watts), and the thing is i used to only run the 96's and i never had a problem then i just figured that i would try out some more wattage on the tank so i did and to tell you the truth i havent seen a difference.

Thanks , but I really have no idea of how to take pics. I use an 8 year old sony 2.1 megapixel. I know how to point zoom and push the button. lol. Thanks for the comments on the corals, they are just low cost corals that I found attractive for the price, a couple of them have been nourished back from poor condition. Definately not show corals, but beutiful to me just as they are, and somebody has to buy the less desireable specimens right.
