Anyone want to Trade?

I have a nice sun coral with 15-20 heads on it. It's doing really well and grows new heads all the time. I just want something new. I really like zoo's, mushroom's and stuff like that. Pm me if anyone is interested.

Thanks
Rose

Okay well I have gotten a couple of offers for the sun coral. I wasn't really clear on what we wanted in trade... We paid like 40 - 45 dollars for the sun coral and we would like something unique and different. A few things we can't have we don't have room for any more anemones and we don't need any fish we are full really.. We don't do Hard corals we have to hard of a time with them. We really love the Soft Corals a lot. So if anyone has any more offers please pm me or post in here..

Thanks

No one wants this coral? I'd love to trade for a nice little colony of zoanthids.

There is a picture of the Sun coral partially open in the Tank Pictures thread, bottom of the first page.

Do you have to target feed each polyp?

I tried a few times and found it less then exciting. I haven't target feed it since I first got it and it's doing fine. Even sprouting new heads... I have a feeling it gets some tasty stuff after the lights go out. I also have it in a higher light area, it would probably come out more if it was in a cave type setting. It usually comes out after I switch to only actinics in the late evening.

It might be getting stuff if you feed something in the tank baby brine or something else protein oriented that floats in the water column?

If you look around at some LFS, they may do a trade with you if you find something you like?

It isn't a big deal, I just though someone in the club might want it. I would just take it up to Dave if I really didn't want it. It is a nice coral, I'm just not as interested in it as I once was.

If you still have the sun coral, I'd love it. I don't have anything very unusual to trade but I have some nice long polyped toadstools, lots of assorted color mushrooms and some red ricordea. I also have $$ if that would do. Sue
