Zoo problem

New to keeping zoo's and mine closed up for a bit do to poor water quality after a few water changes there startin to expand, I notived it looks like a dead layer of skin on them. Is this normal? How do i take it off?

Yes, it's normal... Kind of like shedding dead skim. They should be fine as long as they continue to open more and more every day. Good luck with them
