Now here is a Lizzard for you Lounge Lizzards!

How would you like to find one of these in your back yard? They are becoming a real problem/threat.

Cute little guy at over 6'

No flippin' thank you.... The geckos are about as big a lizard as I want to deal with. We've had some big turtles come thru our yard tho from the retention pond. I always do a wildlife check before letting the dogs out.

They're pretty neat... Problem is that they get bigger and that the people can't take care of them the right way...

Now he or she is pretty cool.

Bamsickle,

We have some large Geckos that come out at night and hang out on the garage door. Even my wife likes them so they can't be too bad. They don't however say "Well Hellloo" and have a English accent.

Those Nile Monitors however are nasty creatures!

I agree. I love my bearded dragon. They are the easiest pets to care for in my house.

These are the longest Nile monitor lizards caught in Cape Coral since the city began trapping them in 2001. The latest one isn’t included because it won’t be officially measured until after it is euthanized.

that's the sad thing, of course they figure they'd have to kill the thing, simply because someone was stupid

It's not a native species, so yes they are hunting them down & killing them - nothing to do with someone being stupid

If they're going to euthanize them anyway, why don't they just let folks shoot them and save the trouble? It would probably make capturing them safer...
