Ocean Tarantula?

I came across this. It looks cool. I can upload the photo cause they dont accept jpegs. Does anyone know anything about these?

There are sea spiders. They're not reefsafe.

I hate spiders too. If I had a spider in my tank I would kill it.

Spiders in my Reef

If there was a spider in my reef, I would mix kalk at 14+ and add it all night long til it was dead and all of its offspring!! Die bastard spiders, Die!! Sorry, I hate spiders big time, they are so creepy, always sneaking up on you in the car, etc...

I haven't read anything good or bad about the subject. One thing I've noticed (and I'm guilty of this too) is that too many people try to create the perfect tank environment by taking things out that don't look right or that we fear might be bad down the road. Sometimes I feel that I'm doing more harm than good. Maybe we should let the mantis shrimp have his space or, in this case let the Sea Spider spin his web in his own little piece of the reef. Just a thought.

Not a bad idea, where do you live? I have a nice peacock mantis to put in your tank right now. He's about 4 inches and well hopefully you dont have any intentions of putting your hands in the tank or any nice fish lol j/k

If THIS was in my tank I would pour an entire bottle of bleach in their and celifain (spelling) the top.

The picture of blue looking spider is the one I was trying to post. I think they look pretty cool, but that one comes from australia and I doubt you could get one as a hitchhiker on LR. I dont think it is anymore ugly than an arrow crab and I love those guys.
