Gauging Interest In TDS Meter Group Buy

We have a lot of new members since we last did a group buy on TDS meters. Who would be interested in a hand held meter. The one I am looking at is this one.

TDS Meter 3 .

If there are enough people interested, the cost would be under $20 delivered to the May meeting - no delivery - pickup only.

I was hoping for one of the inline meeters (the oiginal TDS Monitor). Can we mix and match and still get deals?

I will look into it for you. Are you talking about the one Jason bought last year or did you have something else in mind?

not sue what Jason bought, but on the website you showed, there is an inline tds and inline tds-2. I was looking for the inline tds (not the 2).

Don't go out of your way for me, but if you can swing it that would be cool.

I would be interested in both if the price is around 20 each . But is the inline TDS 2 the one with the capability of reading incoming and outgoing water ?

The DM1 and DM2 both have 2 points of measurement. I have mine (DM1) set to measure coming out of the membrane and out of my DI. I know the water coming in off the street is over 150. If the water is over 15 on the "In" side of the meter, then I need to replace my membrane. If the water is reading over 1 on the "Out" side, then I know my DI is shot.

The difference between the DM1 and DM2 is the DM2 is:
Designed for commercial/industrial applications
Stronger, water resistant casing
Improved design, including an extra large, easy-to-read LCD display
Longer, waterproof, shielded cables
Variable mounting bracket
More expensive (price will depend on how many we order)

If it is only open to Red Sox fans, does the meter only work every 86 years and every other time you try to use it, it seems like it will work great but then disappoint you by failing in some painful way?
Sorry I couldn't resist.

I just talked to the supplier that I was going to use, they won't let us mix and match to get volume pricing. If we can order 10+ of the hand held units, they will be $19.00 each. If we order less than 10, they will be $28.00 each.

The in-line meters will run $38.50 each. If we order 5+, then the price will come down to $32.00 each.

If we order even more, then the price can come down further.

As of now, I see 7 people interested in the hand help units and 2 possible in the in-line. Hopefully we can get some more interest.

Hello Jeff (hans1976),

Would you sell one to me? I am in California. If not, would you PM me the contact for the group buy and I'll start one in my area. Thank you.
