Almost brand new Current 1/3 HP flow through chiller

Figured I'd post this in here because it pretty much has to be a local person

Almost brand new current 1/3 HP chiller. I used it for less than three months last year on my 200g reef tank. The chiller barely ran due to the fact the tank was in my basement but it runs very quiet.
This unit sells for $719 at marinedepot http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewI...product=CU02606 plus i have a mag drive 7 that I will include as well as about 10ft of tubing(5ft feed, 5ft return to sump)
Comes with comtroller as shown in the picture.

Chiller and pump and hose retail for around $800. Asking $575, prefer local.

I don't want to insult you with a low-ball offer so let me just say that the offer has nothing to do with what the value might be....

..I can't justify spending ANY money on a chiller at this point, but I may need one in the future so if you're itching to get rid of it I'll offer $300 plus some Live Rock (if you need it I could part with 20lbs or so) and some of my frags (I have mostly Zoas and some rics that are fraggable).

I bought a chiller a year ago (a 1/10) and it didn't do crap (it was undersized but all I could afford) and I don't know how big my next system will be so I'm not sure if this one will cut it..that's why I can't really justify the cost..but if you really need to get rid of it and it's worth what I offered to you, I'll scrape the money up.

Let me know.

Thanks.

I originally had it on a 105g with a 6in sand bed (so it was about a 75g setup)...no sump, small fuge. I believe it's the Pacific Coast CL-280 1/10 HP Inline Chiller and yes I'd sell it. Right now it's gathering dust in my basement..I blew out the fuse once because it couldn't keep up with my metal halides and closed hood. I replaced the fuse and it was running fine for a while, but I upgraded to a huge sump and come winter I didn't need it so I never hooked it back up.

..oh...and I also had kept it in a closet and the closet got pretty hot and probably affected the chiller's capability to work!!!

I'd probably be looking for cash at this point..I really don't need anything at the moment..including the chiller jamal is selling. But eventually I'd be looking for some 250W halide ballasts and a bigger chiller. I have an 8ft tank sitting in storage and nothing to light it with besides the 2 MHs I have on my 105!

So unless you have MH ballasts to trade..I'd say cash. I wouldn't reccommend shipping this either..I think it cost me $350 to buy and another $50 to ship!!!

Let me test it again since it's been sitting, but I'd probably take $200 for it. You'd need a pump for it too..the one I used has been re-allocated to the big-*ss-sump.
