yup! I already called them on it, by asking a question about it, and now they say they are looking into harrassment charges!

no it is dyed, and i think we should call him on it! ask him questions about it and he doesn't deny it just trying tomake money at the expense of some unknowing newbie individual

It's a common softie that's been dyed (quite heavily at that) a horridly unnatural pink color. This practice is fround upon by most. Often kills the coral. Always stresses it out bigtime.

I wouldn't put it so much on the seller. I actually believe it's the wholesalers who do that.

True, but the seller should be knowledgeable enough of the item that he or she is selling to know when it is not natural so if they receive a shipment from the wholesaler they should send it back or refuse delivery of that item

I didnt know this was happening in SW also. How's a newbie supposed to know better ( to not buy )? I am getting into SW becaused of the bright vibrant colors, now I have to be suspect of it?

Don't worry, after a while, as you get to know your corals, you will know which come in what colors. Untiul then, just be sure to do a little research to avoid these sorts of specimens. Better yet, just ask here

I wonder if it's consistent with eBay's selling rules... Just thinking out loud. Another newbie will be learning an expensive (and possibly deadly to the rest of the tank) coral ID lesson...
