shouldnt be a problem with those two eels together.they are both pretty laid back.i have a chainlink and a goldentail in mine with no problems.they do hide more when there are two eels present though.i guess it just depends on how much rock there is.
good luck |

I can't believe it I was going to ask this very question today. How about a pair of SF eels and a zebra in a 100?

they should be okay but sometimes eels will try to eat eachother, especially if the smowflake is pencil sized (tasty tasty). if they are equal in size you should have no problems.

tank size comes into play for the 3 eels. Competition may spurr a little aggression with those in a small tank.

agreed.... i wouldnt go with more than 2 unless the tank was in the 180 to 200g range. Each eel must have its own spot on the reef to inhabit, hunt and feed. Its when these territories overlap such as in smaller tanks that even docile eels can become defensive.
