External pump - Which one?

I am having a tough time deciding on which external pump I should get for a cloosed loop on my tank. The tank is a 75 gallon which will probably be mostly lps & softies. The tank has a 1" bulkhead toward the bottom of the bank pane which will be the cloosed loop intake. My circulation will be from an OR2500 from the sump and this closed loop. The cloosed loop pump will probably feed a Sea Swirl. I've never had an external pump before so I need some advice. Here are the pumps I am looking at and would appreciate some feedback:

Pan World 50px
Iwaki WMD30RLT (American motor)
Quiet One 3000

Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

All I can say is stay away from the Quiet Ones.

The Iwaki 30 is too much pump for a 75 to be used as a return.
Consider the Eheim 1250. You only need 2x to 5x your tank volume in flow through the sump.

tito,
How do you like your OR2500? If you do, maybe just upscale to the 3500 for the closed loop. I just bought one and have it hooked up with a 1" intake and the same output going to 3 - 5/8" nozzles back into the tank. The pump has a little noise coming from it which I think might just be air bubbles as I just added water to the system and there are lots of bubbles in it.

Oops. Sorry. I am using a Sequence Dart on my 90 closed loop FWIW. Very good pump.

I would go with the Pan World. They are a very quiet pump (I run 3 150-PS') and very reliable.

For a 75G mostly LPS and softies I'd ditch the closed circuit altogether and put two Seio 620s in the tank. They're not much bigger than the actual return nozzles for most closed loops, will move just as much or more water than the PW50 and will use ~1/10th the electricity.
I got rid of two Iwaki 55s on closed circuits and put six Seio 620's in my tank. I get more flow and I'm saving about $20/mo on electricity.
