Taking A Break

I am taking a rest from the forum for a few days, and from all the noise that has arisen lately. I'll check back in periodically, but if I don't take a break right now, I'm going to end up hating the hobby I love.

Thank you for all your time and efforts, Eric. I very much appreciate all that you have contributed to this hobby, including the wonderful corals book of yours that I own.

Enjoy your well deserved break!

Has the world gone mad? Without voicing concerns about legalities of collection, the hobby will be policed by politicians who have no idea what the hobby does for education. It's a shame the few people who try to help educate people are at odds with poachers who will end our hobby.

Without policing ourselves, we will soon have no hobby.

Thank you, Eric for being more than a "pop coral" enthusiest as so many aquarists seem to be - and for speaking for those animals and laws that ae overlooked and have no voice.

Please don't leave the hobby for self destruction. You have a legion of educated people behind you willing to listen and learn. Don't give up.

Yup. Come back soon as I don't need to lectures from other people who have conflict of interest (e.g. business people).

How is this for a plan. Just ditch this silly board and follow them to their new home....

Sorry, but I am a little frustrated right now concerning the short-sightedness of the RC Staff who, admit it or not, drove our favorite experts off..... Grrrr....

And they don't even have the integrity to admit it...

In light of recent events, the posting of that URL is uncalled for.

Please grind your axe elsewhere.
