cyano in sump...

Should I remove it? Are there any issues in leaving it there?

Better than cyano in the display! If you want to get rid of it, increase the water flow and nutrient extraction.

The possibility of it getting back into your main system would be a possibility. Can you leave your sump light off for awhile to kill this stuff?

Cyano is a good indicator that you have excess phosphates within your tank ... many would just leave the cycano within the sump using it as an inexpensive phosphate sponge. Periodic removal of the cyano will export those phosphates.

My thoughts exactly. I would still like to hear what Anthony thinks or if anyone has tried it.
