What do you feed your Zebra Moray?
I have a 24" zerbra moray, and he is a pretty picky eater. The first week I had him, he ate cut shrimp from the grocery store. The next time I went for food, I bought a cheaper shrimp, and he didn't eat it. I went back and got the same thing again, and some he sometimes eats it. He tries them, and then decides not to eat. He comes out looking for food, but he rejects my offerings. Tonight I fed him krill. He ate one piece, and then turned his nose up at the rest, even though he was searching for more food.
What other foods should I try? Thanks, Alex. |

If you could get a hold of some kind of frozen crab, that would be a good thing to try. The Zebra moray I had liked forzen crab, but once I trained it it would eat smelt and shrimp.

these guys eat crustacians. it takes a while to get them to eat in captivity and they usually look for food once the lights go out.

go to your local bait store and get live salt water shrimp, fiddler crabs, crab pieces from the grocery store. Soak in garlic and selcon. Feed 2 times a week.
